Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 22, 2026
1. Welcome to Pricemist
Pricemist is operated by Jacek Polecki Business Services (NIP PL5423022046), a registered business in the European Union. These Terms govern your use of the Pricemist website, web app, browser extension, and mobile app.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. RETAIL PRICES AND AVAILABILITY CAN CHANGE, AND YOU MUST VERIFY THEM WITH THE RETAILER BEFORE BUYING.
2. The Service
Pricemist is a shopping workspace that saves product links, monitors prices, sends alerts, organizes collections, supports optional public sharing, and provides return reminders and priority monitoring features. It is not the retailer, seller, payment card issuer, or a guarantee of the lowest price or a successful purchase.
The Collector plan lets you save unlimited items and watch up to five at once. Plus adds unlimited watches and other Plus features. Features, monitoring frequency, retailer compatibility, and price data may be delayed or unavailable because of third-party sites, networks, maintenance, or other technical limits.
Some retailer links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through one, without changing the price you pay or allowing the commission to determine the price history shown.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 16, provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. Accounts are personal and limits apply per account.
You may delete your Pricemist account in the app. Deletion removes access and anonymizes or deletes product data as described in the Privacy Policy, but it does not cancel a subscription sold by Apple or Paddle. Cancel that subscription with the provider that sold it before deleting your account if you do not want renewal.
4. Plus, Preview, Billing, and Cancellation
Web Plus is offered through Paddle at $9 per month. The recorded U.S. App Store base price is USD 8.99 per month; Apple displays and charges the localized storefront price shown in StoreKit. Taxes and regional pricing may vary. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled through the provider that sold them.
An eligible account may start one seven-day Plus Preview without a card. Preview is an internal entitlement, not an Apple introductory offer or Paddle billing trial. It does not renew or grant paid-period coins. If you buy Plus during Preview, billing starts immediately and the paid subscription replaces Preview.
Cancel web billing through the Paddle customer portal and App Store billing through Apple's subscription settings. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while paid access continues through the provider-confirmed period, subject to provider rules and payment status.
5. Coins, Boosts, and Coin Packs
Coins are a limited, non-transferable service balance with no cash value. Check Now costs 1 coin, a 24-hour Boost costs 3 coins, and a seven-day Boost costs 10 coins. Coins purchase priority work, not guaranteed price changes, savings, or a fixed number of checks.
New accounts receive 20 promotional coins. Eligible Collector or Plus Preview accounts may receive a monthly promotional top-up of up to 5 coins, capped at 20 promotional coins. Each successfully paid Plus period grants 50 subscription coins once. Purchased coin packs contain 10, 50, or 150 coins. Coin grants and fulfillment require verified server or provider evidence and may be delayed while verification is pending.
A failed Check Now restores its debit once. Canceling an active Boost may return the unused portion based on successful priority checks already delivered and the server's authoritative estimate; rounding down can apply. Provider refunds or revocations reverse remaining attributable paid coins first. If some refunded value has already been spent, we may record the remainder for review rather than create a negative balance.
6. Refunds and Purchase Support
Refund eligibility and processing depend on the purchase channel and applicable law; Pricemist does not promise a blanket refund period for every channel or product.
- Paddle web purchases: use the receipt, billing portal, or Paddle support/refund route. Our contact form can help identify the correct route.
- Apple purchases: request purchase support or a refund through Apple, including reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides eligibility under its terms.
When a provider verifies a refund, revocation, or chargeback, related Plus access and remaining attributable coins may be removed. A refund request is not complete merely because you contacted Pricemist, canceled renewal, or deleted your account.
7. Public Profiles, Collections, and Other User Content
You keep ownership of content you submit. When you choose to publish a profile, avatar, collection, notes, or shared item, you grant Pricemist a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and technically modify that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service. The license ends when the content is removed, except for cached copies, safety records, legal obligations, or material already shared outside Pricemist.
You must have the rights needed to publish content. You may not publish sexual or obscene content, hate or harassment, threats or violence, scams or spam, impersonation, exposed private data, unlawful or infringing material, malware, or content intended to evade safety controls.
We may filter publication, hold avatars for review, limit distribution, hide or restore content, suspend sharing, preserve evidence, or restrict accounts when reasonably needed for safety, rights protection, legal compliance, or enforcement. A report does not automatically prove a violation or delete an account. Signed-in users may report content or block another account; anonymous public pages can remain reachable.
To appeal a moderation decision, report exposed private data, or raise an intellectual-property concern, use our monitored contact form and include enough information to locate the content. We may ask for identity or rights verification.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use Pricemist unlawfully; impersonate another person; compromise an account; evade product, coin, rate, or subscription limits; interfere with the service; introduce malicious code; use unauthorized automation; reverse engineer where prohibited; abuse reports or blocks; or use the service to harm users, retailers, or third parties.
9. Intellectual Property and Third Parties
Pricemist's software, design, trademarks, and original service content belong to Pricemist or its licensors. Retailer names, product images, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Retailers and payment providers have separate terms and policies, and Pricemist does not control their inventory, delivery, returns, or conduct.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for material or repeated violations, fraud, security threats, unlawful use, provider requirements, or risk to users or the service, with notice when reasonably possible. We may preserve records required for billing, safety, legal holds, disputes, and enforcement.
11. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pricemist does not warrant uninterrupted operation, complete retailer coverage, exact or current prices, alerts before a purchase opportunity ends, or any particular savings. Pricemist is not responsible for retailer transactions or decisions you make based on service information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, our aggregate liability relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Pricemist for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Changes, Governing Law, and Contact
We may update the service or these Terms. We will provide notice of material changes as required by law. These Terms are governed by applicable Polish and European Union law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country.
The Privacy Policy explains our data practices. For billing help, safety reports, moderation appeals, legal notices, or questions about these Terms, use our monitored Contact Form.
